The second incident that captured the eye of the public unfolded in Montgomery, Alabama, where a seamstress named Rosa put created the spark that would provide the momentum for the entire civil rights movement. On December 1, 1955, the NAACP member boarded a public bus and took a shag in the blackamoor section in the back of the bus.
